Our History

At Bored No More, we understand firsthand the challenges of being a child in the hospital.  Our cofounder, Alexis Brady, had a hospital procedure as a child and had an extended stay.  She looked for ways to pass the time and try to experience some joy.

That answer came about from an elementary school project, where she decided to raise money and create gift baskets for fun activities for kids experiencing the long hospital stays that she could relate to.  We know how long and boring those days can be, and that’s why sisters Taylor & Alexis started this charity.  Our hope is to bring joy, fun, comfort, and health & wellness to kids facing similar struggles.
